I'm not a coffee snob per say, but I know good coffee when I taste it. Sturgis sponsored a mountain bike event here in Southern California (thanks guys!), and I won a pound of this at the raffle. Most darker roasts out here are bitter, so I was extremely happy with the smooth taste of this blend. Thanks again Sturgis!

This is the best I've ever tasted, I've tasted many. It is the perfect blend of beans that create that cup of coffee that matches the scent of coffee we all love. No bitterness to be found.

My friends and family have always called me a coffee snob. Life is indeed too short to drink bad coffee! After accidentally buying GROG - the spiced coffee, I told Mike it wasn't my type and he gladly gave me a new bag of HEAVY METAL based on what I reported as my coffee preferences. Can I just say, "YUM!" There is a BIG coffee company that I have always claimed as "the" best. I stand corrected. HEAVY METAL is my new favorite. It smells as delicious as it tastes and goes down so smoothly. It is rich and dark and perfect!
